We want to congratulate MAGA conservatives pac of pa, Jon Marietta, and many others who were involved in putting the concert together for a very memorable and patriotic night! President Trump has officially signed the CR to RE-OPEN the government from the Schumer Shutdown Trump REFUSED to budge. Not a SINGLE PENNY went to illegals, as Chuck Schumer wanted GREAT WORK, 47!
The Continuing Appropriations Act, 2026 (H.R. 5371), signed into law by President Trump on November 12, 2025, ended the longest U.S. government shutdown in history (which began October 1, 2025, over FY 2026 funding disputes). This package combined a short-term continuing resolution (CR) with full-year appropriations bills for select areas, restoring federal operations, providing retroactive pay to furloughed workers, prohibiting further workforce reductions in force (RIFs), and rescinding layoff notices issued since the shutdown began. It funds the government at fiscal year (FY) 2025 levels through January 30, 2026, for agencies covered by nine of the 12 annual appropriations acts, while providing full-year funding for agriculture/FDA, the legislative branch, and military construction/veterans affairs.
